Well known for his documentary approach to portraiture and place, Rich’s inquisitive and empathetic nature have led him to create both personal and commercial bodies of work that focus on the subtle nuances of people and place.
Personal projects have included DIY, where he documented homemade skateparks around the world and Rituals, an intimate portrait of subcultural life in Dublin.
He published his first book DIY in 2014 with Prestel and his photographs have been exhibited internationally including The Gallery of Photography Ireland, Le Bal Paris, The Belfast photo festival and the Journees Photographique Bienne, Switzerland. He is currently based between Ireland & NYC.
